Adrian Naudi

It was Kenny Rogers playing “The Gambler” on the American TV show Solid Gold that proved to be Adrian’s epiphany at age 5. A love for guitar and desire to perform were born that day, a synergy that has grown in confidence and diversity throughout the years.

Adrian has released a string of acclaimed records on Australian, American and European labels with extensive touring across Australia in a variety of bands. This experience lead to the beginning of a career in radio on a show called Mondo Bizarro, which for 10 years commanded a lucrative time slot on Melbourne’s RRRFM. Adrian featured as co-host from 1994 until 2006, eventually trading in his “golden tonsils” to focus more on his music. However, an art-form of a different kind lay in wait on the not to distant horizon.

Adrian soon appeared in a number of films by Melbourne based independent, Lost Art Films. In 2007, he appeared in DemonsAmongUs, followed in 2008 with a supporting role in the short film Context (both films premiering at the Melbourne Underground Film Festival). In 2009, Adrian featured in an anthology series titled Dark Psychosis. These appearances have lit a new passion aflame, acting in front of camera. Currently refining his craft at TAFTA, Adrian has an infectious energy, creative enthusiasm, professional outlook and sense of humour to match.

With graduate degrees in Social Work and Psychology, Adrian currently works part-time as a State Government Policy Advisor. He is in pre-production for a new album to be released in 2010 and maintains a strict 6 day a week physical fitness regime including Yoga, medium distance running/swimming, and weight training. All this accompanies a love of reading, surfing and the Collingwood Football Club.
