Elizabeth Saunders

Elizabeth has spent the first half of her twenties traveling back and forth from smoggy LA to Melbourne thanks to her extensive involvement in Hollywood Actors' Studios and her subsequent rapports with nutty LA Casting Directors. Since taking her first acting class at the age of 9 and winning the Australian National Championships of (would you believe) Irish Dancing in Sydney when she was 11, Elizabeth has immersed herself in the art of performing.

Throughout Secondary College she performed in many school plays, including as leads 'Helena' in Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', and 'Cecily' in Oscar Wilde's, 'The Importance of Being Earnest'. She took advanced classes at St. Martins' Theatre Company where she also performed in several plays and completed all Units of Theatre Studies for VCE.

At the same time, Elizabeth also auditioned successfully for her 1st commercial which, much to her amusement, ran nationally throughout her final exams.

During her tertiary education at the University of Melbourne where she completed an Arts degree with a Major in Cinema Studies, Elizabeth continued her artistic pursuits by studying at Academies such as Tafta, performing in plays for the Melbourne Fringe Festivals and taking classes with Casting Directors such as Wizzy Ringer who would call Elizabeth a week after her class and offer her a role on Channel 10's The Secret Life of Us ..which she happily accepted.

After Uni, Elizabeth relocated to Los Angeles where she studied at studios such as the famed Network Studios in the heart of the valley and embarked on 12 hour days of class -purely to avoid the good, crazy people of the LA outdoors.

Elizabeth is now happily based in Melbourne writing and singing music, supporting her friends in the Melbourne Rock Industry and working as an actress with the good crazy people of the Melbourne outdoors.
