Justin Hosking

Entry into the acting fraternity is for some a road of sheer persistence while for others it is simply destiny. Justin Hosking’s excuse, inadvertently was a pesky intuition. After virtually no training, Justin landed two roles with the professional theatre group in Aspen, Colorado – Aspen Theatre In The Park. Following his roles in the two plays, namely Picnic and Quack, Justin found inspiration to follow this same intuition and take up acting as a career.

Consequently, Justin ensued his craft through training with Hollywood’s most sought after acting coach, Eric Morris, in 2003 and 2004. Furthermore, Justin also spent the early part of 2003 with Anthony Vincent Bova (who teaches Eric Morris’ method) in New York City. . Justin’s time in the States was invaluable for him, as he not only dramatically improved his acting, but gained the necessary confidence to perform to his full potential.

Justin, along with a fellow actor who shares a mutual dedication, has recently formed his own theatre company, Human Sacrifice. The company’s first production of Sam Shepard’s True West received great reviews from press and industry. As an independent theatre company, Human Sacrifice was spawned with the aim of allowing Justin to not only produce theatre pieces that inspire him, but to also use such productions as a vehicle to promote his talent. Future productions are currently in planning. Please visit the website at www.humansacrificetheatre.com

Justin has had numerous roles in theatre, television and film both here and in the US.

He continues to challenge himself, and works out regularly with other actors on various scenes and monologues from plays. He has also taught acting with Red Stitch Actors Theatre.

Outside acting Justin loves to travel, play guitar, snowboard, photography and bonding with freaks.
