At the age of eighteen she received the role of Portia in Shakespeare's 'The Merchant of Venice'. Throughout high school she took acting classes through MTC and St. Martins Youth Theatre. Since leaving school she has spent six months travelling in Europe, Guatemala and America as well as working in New York and North Carolina. Once back in Australia she studied in a Bachelor of Performing Arts at Monash University for a year and a half and continues to study a Bachelor of Arts. |
In 2007 she did classes as well as one-on-one work with the Royal Shakespeare Company's Simon Trinder. In December she performed in two Top 30 pieces in Short and Sweet Melbourne receiving a nomination for Best Actress for her performances. Leah's other main passion is helping

whom she was lucky enough to meet when she was there. She is currently
working with the plight of homelessness in Australia and performed a short
theatre piece based on interviews with people living on the street. |
