Marthe Snorresdotter
Rovic

Marthe is a Norwegian born actress whom has relocated to Australia to further an already successful career. Marthe first started performing at the age of 10 as a ballet dancer and continued this passion throughout her high school years, although having always had an underlying love for acting she followed her heart to study drama and theatre. After discovering a talent Marthe moved to the city where she auditioned and was accepted to a highly reputable acting school.

After three years of learning and refining her skills Marthe had completed her education and promptly started a theatre group. ‘The Celebration’ by Thomas Vinterberg was the first of the productions. Tackling the heavy issues of incest it attracted a lot of media attention, and was well received by its audiences.

Soon after this Marthe went on to perform a lead role in ‘Cold Prey 2’. The movie was to break all box office records in the opening weekend.

After arriving and briefly exploring Australia Marthe moved to Broome where she worked on a TV production for channel 7. As a side project to this she also wrote, directed and starred in the short film ‘Dance with Me’.

Marthe is highly motivated; she enjoys challenges, versatility and is always looking for new projects in order to grow as an actress.
